I am a licensed Architect in CT, RI, and MA as well as nationally certified for licensing reciprocity across the country.

As the Founder and Owner of HELM Architecture + Design LLC, I bring over 10 years of architecture, design and project management experience for large and small projects across residential, retail, office, entertainment, non-profit and municipal settings.

I take a thoughtful approach and lean on my inquisitive nature to lead to unique architectural solutions for each project. Successful designs meet the functional and aesthetic needs of the client while respecting the environmental, societal, and historical context of the building’s setting. At the core of my architectural practice are respect for individuals, communities, the environment, science and technology.

I am also a professor at Three Rivers Community College, helping teach and inspire the next generation of Architects and Building Industry professionals.

I live in Niantic, Connecticut with my wife, Elaine, and two children, Parker and Sadie. On a beautiful summer day you can likely spot me sailing on the waters of Niantic Bay and Long Island Sound.
